In 1935, Nobel Laureate, French doctor Alexis Carrel first coined term “Holistic Medicine”, which was the revolutionary concept deviated from conventional medicine. It laid the foundation for later incoming of FM. It has been over 84 years since the emerge of holistic approach to human body. History always produces surprise. Ironically enough, the holistic approach centered FM and traditional Chinese Medicine are in many ways remarkably comparable. In the long river of history, the East and the West some time passed by with each other, and other time they united. Is this time a mere coincidence or the ultimate converge that will finally bear the fruit!
